YUM! I can usually tolerate pesto in small doses and I don't like mayo but this sauce is a whole different story! The combination totally works and it's delicious! I added extra pine nuts and some chopped sundried tomatoes as well. This makes a lot of sauce so you could probably cut back in half and you'd still have plenty.

I first made this recipe to take to a tennis luncheon. Everyone wanted the recipe!! My family loves it, and my daughter loves taking in her lunch to school. One of my all-time favorite recipes!

I made this for the first time for Labor Day weekend and it was a hit with all my family. It was so easy and had such a fresh taste. Lovely green color as well. I will definitely make this again.

My sister made this at a party and I then had to have the recipe and have made it numerous times for dinners and parties. Everyone loves it and I leave with an empty bowl. I sometimes add chicken to it too.

I made Ina's sauce from scratch--be sure to have a food processor on hand. There is a lot of sauce, too much to make in a magic bullet or other food processing device. We didn't put all the sauce over the pasta, and froze some like Ina suggested. It is such a good pesto, the garlic makes it a little spicy. My mother said that it tasted just like the fresh pesto sauce our relatives make in the village of Chiavri, Italy. Keep in mind that it is a lot of uncooked raw garlic, and has a very strong flavor (some of your guests could have digestive problems. Overall this pasta is very impressive, great for a party or a family meal. I served it for dinner by adding cubed, grilled chicken breast. Very gourmet and elegant!

Forgot the peas, you couldn't taste the mayo or spinach. Nice color

Extremely good. Tried it for a cookout...none left! I really think that those with bad results probably cheaped out on the ingredients. One cannot expect great results with poor or inferior ingredients.

I made this for a picnic and my husband said it was the world's best pasta salad! The peas really make this dish! Absolutely a keeper - thanks again Ina!

Great recipe, the peas are such an unexpected but welcome surprise in the pasta. The flavors are great together. This one's a keeper!
