This was, by far, the best pesto recipe I have ever tasted, including in any restaurant. Next time I will make a double batch and freeze it so I will always have on hand. I imagine this would also taste great on fish. A definite keeper

This recipe is awesome. I served for a dinner party we had for some friends that just got married. I added some shrimp and scallops into it. Everyone loved it. Ina is the greatest!

I love making this dish for potlucks or casual dinner parties. It's my go-to dish. Total crowd pleaser and super easy to make. note: i don't make my own pesto. I buy the one in the jar. No one can tell!

Even my husband, who says he doesn't like pasta salads, loved this. I'm making it again tomorrow with Christmas tree shaped pasta for a brunch. It's the best use of fresh basil I know and so different. I could hardly stay out of it. Do try it!

This dish was quick and easy. After reading other reviews about the pesto being too oily, I decided to lighten it up. I used a few tablespoons of oil to give the pesto the right flavor, and then I added chicken stock until it became the right consistency. It was definately not greasy and was ligher and healthier.

I loved this recipe but made a few modifications because it did look heavy on the mayo. I made the pesto as directed, less one garlic clove and only used 3/4 cup oil (I thought 1 and 1/2 cups was way too much oil and 3 cloves is a lot of garlic, but when it came time to make make the dressing for the pasta, I used ALL of the pesto instead of the cup and a half then added the mayo and spinach. Then I used about half of the pesto mixture and saved the rest in the freezer for another time.

i saw this on tv and thought it looked awesome but it was .... not that great. little heavy on the garlic and adding the mayo was weird. i think i would have stopped with just the pesto. oh well.

The green color is great for presentation and I loved the taste of this dish! I will make this again and again.

Very rich and tasty pasta dish. I'm not a measurer and this worked great with a free hand on the ingredients!

I made this using 1 lb mini farfalla using the provided pesto recipe. I felt the pest was very flavorful, and will keep it in my cookbook for future use. I really enjoyed this, very flavorful, and very pretty.
