I will use less lemon next time, but other than that, it was great.

I saw the comments regarding too much oil and when I watched the show I noticed Ina used 1/3 cup of oil to make the pesto. It's a Foodnetwork typo.

    Ina's the best!

This is really delicious. The pesto was unbelievable. Adding the mayonnaise is a different touch than making regular pesto. It made a TON of pesto, so I saved a bit and froze it to use over hot pasta later. My husband absolutely loved it. Very garlicky.

This recipe is full of flavor, as is all of Ina's recipes. I really enjoyed the combination of pasta, pesto, and peas. Everything really melded together. However, I do agree with the other reviewer that the recipe called for a little too much olive oil. I used less than 1 cup and it was still too much! I suggest maybe 1/2 to 3/4 a cup of olive oil depending on your taste, but 1 1/2 is just to overwhelming! I also did not feel a need for the mayonaise. It was delicious with just the pesto, and a lot healthier. I hope this helps!

Thanks Ina! Just like your can't miss Lasagna. This one is a winner! Use the Pesto all the time with Pasta and chicken. Have Made "Pasta Pesto and Peas" several times to rave reviews.
