If you like pasta, and we do, this recipe is delicious. I did add the tomatoes, but did not toss them in with the pasta, which added a nice fresh touch to the peppered pasta. Also, I added some of the pasta water to the mixture of the sauce ingredients before I tossed it and found that that worked just great. I also used high quality tellicherry peppercorns and halved the quantity. A full dose would be very spicy. This recipe is a testament to the fact that recipes don't have to be complicated to be 5-star.

This dish can be altered to be delicious, but the way it's presented here, it's hard to eat. I should have known that one full tbsp of pepper for 2 servings was going to be too much! My mouth was on fire, and not in a pleasant way. If you use half of that, and add some halved grape tomatoes (like she did on the show, by the way, it would be very good.

I made this as a side dish but my guests went mad with the taste brilliant flavour and I used parmesan as I cannot get the cheese that you suggested in the receipe. The cooking was so simple and the comments what can I say. well done.

Excellent. Used the halved tomatoes and a mixture of black, green and pink peppercorns. Omitted the parsley and added a cup of chiffonade arugula to the mixture.

Delicious meatless recipe! I included sauted tomato halves per the tv recipe and some fresh parsley from the garden. Outstanding per my husband. On my repeat list.

I saw Ina make this recipe on her show, and I wanted to try it in order to use the fresh parsley from my garden. I made it pretty much as written, adding in the tomatoes that were left out of the recipe, and leaving out the extra salt per the recommendations of the previous reviewers. It was delicious. It really soaked up the small amount of pasta water that I initially added to the mixture when it was on the stove, and I had to go back and add a little more. Next time, I'll know to add more pasta water to begin with. A delicious and easy dish. We had grilled vegetables on the side.

I used parmesan (there was a wedge in the refrigerator and whole wheat linguine. It was delicious. I will make it again soon with pecorino and less salt.

I added an amazing heirloom tomato and used really great egg pasta, but used skim milk (didn't have cream and store bought shredded parmesan. It was delicious anyway! Can't wait to make again according to recipe. Oh, and added fresh basil too. YUM!

Easy, elegant and flavorful. Can whip it up after work using items on hand. Perfect with a side salad.
