Oh my godddd! This is to die for! I only had 4 peaches and it still turned out amazing! The flavor combination is so delicious and the crumble is perfect (I added some oats as well. You can't go wrong with this recipe in summertime with fresh peaches... so so good! Love you Ina!

I make this dessert all summer long, and it turns out perfectly every time!!! It is delicious and easy enough that I can make it over and over and everyone loves it, but requires just enough effort that it feels special when it is done!!! I am out of town visiting family and headed to a get-together, and was glad the recipe was online so I can bring it to share with friends here!

Actually, I was looking for a crumb recipe for pies. The crumbles on top of this recipe is excellent for any fruit pie or crisp recipe. I like to buy the frozen pie crusts for the bottom of a pie and I prefer a crunchy crumb topping instead of a dough top. It's so much easier than making pie crust from scratch. I haven't done that for years. I know I'm missing out on the flavor of a completely homemade pie but I don;t have any complaints so far.

This is a great recipe though I tend to agree with some of the reviewers that you can definitely cut back on the sugar and the butter a bit and still come up with a great product. I added 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla and grated ginger to the fruit and baked in an 8 in square. Served it a la mode or with cream -- yum.

I made this twice this week. Don't have ramekins so I used a baking dish. I only needed 1/2 the sugar in the fruit mix because the fruit was already very ripe and sweet, and I added a little fresh grated ginger. The first time the topping was tasty but a little gooey - never really crisped up. The second time I cut down to about 7T butter, and used 3/4 c flour with 1/2 c oats. The dryer, crunchier consistency was more of what I was expecting. Served with whipped cream (slightly sweetened and a hint of cinnamon. YUM!!!

Always a crowd pleaser!!! I like to sprinkle some blueberries on the top about ten minutes before I take them out to add a marble effect on the top. So tasty!

Delish! My peaches were on the tart side, so I omitted the lemon juice, but the zest gave this an underlying extra fresh kick of flavor. The crumble was the perfect compliment.
