    Absolutely delicious, although the first time I made it with the orange zest, and I found it completely over-powering. The second time I made it without the orange zest, and it was so scrumptious, I will make it every summer when fresh peaches are available!

    The absolute best crisp recipe ever! I now use this for my apple crisp recipe too...just substitute apples for the peaches and raspberries. I add a little cinnamon in with the apples...otherwise I wouldn't change a thing :

    Wow, I made this for company and we were literally scraping the dish to get all the last oooey goodness. Thanks Ina, once again, you've made a simple and super delicious dessert. I added pecans, other then that followed the recipe exactly. SO GOOD! Definitely a repeat!

    Delicious, scrumptious, sweet, and flavorful. This is a great recipe for a mixed fruit cobbler. I also added blueberries, cinnamon, and changed the flour to cornstarch by preference. As it was baking I could see the fruit bubbling through the crust and thought it was going to be awesome, and was I right. Served it with some vanilla bean ice cream with cinnamon on top while warm and then I looked at it and said "I will create you again, no doubt, no worries."

    OK, I said it before and I will say it again: Ina, you are the best!! I tested 3 other recipes from other authors when I baked this gem of a fruity desert. One was a bit too cake-like, one was too runny, one seemed too sweet. This was so delicious - I followed the recipe precisely and, as has always been my experience with all of Ina's recipes - the results were to die for! The crisp has just the perfect combination of sweet and fruity. It keeps well and I did not even need to warm it up - it tastes wonderful at room temperature.

    Outstanding! I've been making (and eating cobbler-type desserts for many years and this is one of the best. The directions make a lot of crumble topping. Use a thinner layer of crumble topping to prevent the underside of the crumble from being mushy and undercooked. Also, I added a little cornstarch mixed with water to the filling to make it nice and thick. Delicious and simple! And it's even great served cold for breakfast.

    Sooooo good! The orange zest adds a nice flavor. I halved the recipe for my husband and me and we STILL have tons left! I'll eat it again tomorrow, if I must. ;

    Great summer dessert. I made it for dinner with another couple, and it couldn't have been easier. Somehow I ended up with a lot of extra crisp (maybe my pan is too small but otherwise no problems. I also baked it for about ten minutes extra so it was nice and brown. Definitely will make and and something I'd definitely recommend to others. Perfect with vanilla ice cream.
