This recipe is wonderful just as written. I took it to a party and people raved about it. I think they were about to start licking the pan! I thought the orange zest added the perfect zip and all of the flavors melded together for a taste explosion in my mouth. If you have really juicy peaches, you may want to increase the flour, but otherwise it is just to die for! Ina's recipes are always winners.

Very tasty! Came out crispy and didn't get soggy after 24 hours. I didn't use raspberries or orange zest. I used about 11-12 peaches.

Love this recipe. Instead of raspberries, I just use yellow peaches. I tried it once with white peaches and it was not very good - too sweet. You need the tartness of the yellow peaches. This recipe is quicker and easier than making a pie from scratch and the taste is way better! A good crowd pleaser.

After reading the recipe, I was immediately concerned with the amount of sugar, so I modified the recipe. To the fruit mixture, I added ¼ of both brown and white sugar, a ¼ cup less of white sugar than called for. To the crumble topping I added ½ cup less of white sugar than called for, using ½ cup of both white and brown sugar. For the flour, I used a ¼ cup whole wheat flour and the remainder, white flour. I added ½ cup toasted pecans to the topping. I hand mixed the dry ingredients. I did not have the size pan called for in the recipe, so I divided the final mix, into two different containers. It baked fine. It was a big hit for my friends birthday dinner!

This was amazing!! I didn't use the orange zest since I didn't have any oranges on hand and it was still incredible. The crust is delicious and a perfect crunch to add texture to the soft fruit. The recipe made enough to make 2 crisps so next time I am cutting the recipe in half... A must try and be sure to have some vanilla ice cream in the freezer to go with!!!

Absolutely delicious, although the first time I made it with the orange zest, and I found it completely over-powering. The second time I made it without the orange zest, and it was so scrumptious, I will make it every summer when fresh peaches are available!

The absolute best crisp recipe ever! I now use this for my apple crisp recipe too...just substitute apples for the peaches and raspberries. I add a little cinnamon in with the apples...otherwise I wouldn't change a thing :
