So good if you use quality chocolate.

I watched you make these brownies on TV. They looked absolutely delicious and I couldn't wait to get all of my ingredients together and make a batch for my husband and his brother firefighters. They came out sooooo bad. I could wring the grease out of them. I thought when reading all of the ingredients that was a lot of fat but followed the recipe exactly. If you could stand to eat that much grease you would have to eat it with a spoon.
Think about it. Butter, peanut butter, and all of the fat in the chocolate. Oh my gosh. I will use a box the next time.

I'm going to make these today and I'm wondering if the people who say they baked them much longer remembered they are supposed to put them in the fridge after baking. Maybe not doing that is why they don't firm up.

I made these yesterday and the brownies are greasy. You barely touch a brownie and your hand is greasy... yuck. These are certainly chocolatey which is very good, but the butter makes them too dense and rich, and it weighs them down. These brownies look and taste more like greasy fudge than dense, chocolatey brownies. Calling for 1 pound of butter for 20 brownies is just too much (that's a little more than 1-1/2 tablespoons per serving. Next time I will try 1/2 to 3/4-pound of butter and substituting some milk for the remaining butter.

I made these brownies for the first time last week, and I have never had a brownie so incredibly wonderful. The chocolate isn't too sweet, and the coffee really brings out the flavor. The peanut butter just adds another touch of love to it! A+++

Yes, I believe these brownies are one of the best recipes for brownies I have come across. I would highly recommend these for any party you have or even as a holiday treat because you can dress them up with many differant ideas as I did.

Rich chocolate taste, almost perfect brownie, but only too sweet!

I made these brownies and took them to work. I've never gotten such rave reviews from anything I've taken. Well not exactly true...but these are by far the best brownies I've ever had or made.
