This enjoyable recipe took me most of an entire afternoon to make. The crust alone took 45 minutes to cook. The recipe says 15,.. this is ludicrous, unless you like raw crust. . I actually cooked mine until it was brown. I cut the recipe in half, and that was plenty enough, unless you are cooking for an army. I like to taste chocolate in every bite, so I drizzled the chocolate all over the top. Delicious, but I think it is complicated.

I made this for Thanksgiving and it was a big hit. Everyone loved it. I had enough left over that I brough it into work and there was not even a crumb left on the plate.

Holly Molly! What a taste, what a budget breaker and well worth the calories and coast! Helpful hints...crust is a little to thick. Will not use all of it the next time and bake it a little longer (my pan was to correct size too. I did read all the reviews and noted that this recipe tended to overflow, so I did not use all of the pecan mixture, so no overflow - that easy. People at work went NUTS!

These are wonderful bars - but I think mine could have been better if I had taken the pan out of the oven at the earlier time. The pecan mixture was runny looking, so I left them in longer. Next time, I will take them out sooner for a more moist filling.
Males a lot of bars! ( I used a deeper pan and had no trouble with it overflowing.

I loved this recipe. The only thing that I didn't like was that it made about 1000 bars! I had bars coming out of my ears! Also, the recipe is extremely sweet so a small piece of a bar is enough to satisfy any sweet tooth!

I made these for Thanksgiving instead of the traditional Pecan Pie...they were scrumptious plus when dipped in the Chocolate Ganache they make a beautiful and impressive addition to your holiday table. My friends and family have asked me to make them for Christmas and Hannukah too and I am never the person who brings desserts! Ina this recipe is definately a KEEPER -thank you.
