Full proof! Perfect and impressive. I made 2 for a dinner party. We only ended eating the one large one that night. I added parsnips to the veggies and they were SO gooey and delicious. Just watch the video and do it like Ina! Lots of salt and butter, yummy!

The name "Perfect Roast Chicken" is certainly appropriate! I love Ina's recipes and have seen her make this time and again but somehow just never got to this one. What was I waiting for? I followed the recipe exactly and wouldn't change a thing! I made it for Christmas Eve dinner last night and could not believe how very delicious and perfectly golden brown the chicken was, not to mention the yummy vegetables. A "perfect" keeper - thanks, Ina!

I love this recipe. I love it so much that I am making it for Christmas Eve dinner, except I will use cornish hens instead. This recipe is great. Five Stars.

I've made this recipe 3 times now. The second time I tried it I doubled the veg because they turned out so great the first time. Bad idea! The juices in the bottom of the pan weren't nearly as flavorful as the first time I made it. Follow the recipe exactly. It is perfect!
