This was my first time making a Thanksgiving turkey so I wanted something relatively easy. It was so delicious! It came out very moist and perfectly browned. We did have to add some stock to the pan because there weren't very many drippings. Also we left out the lemon and added some springs of fresh rosemary and a sliced red apple to the other stuffing ingrediants. Will definitely make this again.

I made this yesterday and the turkey was so moist and flavorful. The house smelled amazing as it was cooking. The skin browned up quite nicely. I would make this again in a heartbeat and the only change that I would make would be to use a bigger turkey!

A winning recipe! I've tried to cook turkey in the past and have always failed. Either it doesn't look or taste appetizing, or it just doesn't cook all the way through. Both my parents aren't turkey eaters (only because turkey is never eaten in their native country but for the first time, they enjoyed eating turkey! They LOVED it and even went back for seconds and thirds!! Not only did it taste great, it looked like it came out of a magazine! Gorgeous, moist, and flavorful! I was so thrilled! Also, stuffing all those lemons in the cavity, really gave the house a nice aroma! Good luck and happy cooking!

The turkey was wonderful. It was my first turkey so I was really nervous about the thighs being done but everything went well. It was super moist and favorful.

This turkey was great. Being that it was my first time making thanksgiving dinner all by myself, I needed an easy but yummy recipe, and I have no complaints.

The first time I ever made a turkey, i used this recipe and it was a winner! I have used it for two years now and this year makes the third. It is so easy and comes out juicy and moist! I dont remember basting it though but after I carved the turkey I spooned the juices in bottom of pan on top of sliced meat! Also keep an eye on turkey if it becomes too brown and you still have a lot of cooking time left, just place a tent of tin foil on top for remainder of cooking time! Everyone loved it!!

Cooked my first turkey EVER!!! tried a practice turkey since Im hosting my first thanksgiving. I copied the recipe exactly. My turkey saw still frozen on the inside after thawing for 2 days in the fridge, so i called my grandma!! she said give it a cold water turkey bath (i was skeptical but it worked (hot water cooks it and causes bateria craziness. I just took it out of the oven, cut into one leg (if juices are clear, its cooked good and now Im letting it rest while covered in tin foil.
Update: BEST TURKEY OF MY LIFE(and im not a turkey fan, actually skip it on thanksgiving. even with leaving on bag in. i thought there was only 1 bag of gizzards, but forgot there was another one for the neck.

I have been using Ina's Perfect Roast Turkey recipe for four years now & it is fail safe. I never go wrong anymore (I used to mess up turkey a lot before this recipe. No basting, either! The turkey really does come out perfect. Thank you, Ina. You are a genius!
