I took a chance and used this recipe for our Christmas turkey. Wow! Easy, moist and a little hint of lemon. It was perfect! My guests and I enjoyed it very much. I will definately use again. If you haven't already, print this one out. It's a keeper!

I made this turkey recipe for my first Thanksgiving turkey I ever made and it was fantastic. Moist, tender, and we ate off of it for days. It was truly an awesome turkey day with this recipe. I have to admit, when I saw there was lemon involved, I was very reluctant to combine the sweet and savory but it was great.

The turkey was easier to prepare than I thought, and the ingredients used were things that I usually have in my kitchen. Wonderful taste, with such a lemony twist!

I made this for Thanksgiving and I was looking forward to a new taste to my turkey. I was a little disappointed that it did not have the taste of thyme, onion, garlic, and butter. I followed the recipe but placed the turkey in a turkey bag. The turkey was very juicy but it did not have any of the flavors of the onion. garlic, butter, or thyme. Next time I will just use the turkey bag like I normally do and skip the other ingredients. The turkey bag keeps the turkey very juicy.

I just made the best turkey I have ever had in my life. My guests were speechless as they devoured every bite and somewhat sadly, there are no leftovers. I made some slight variations trading thyme for cilantro but held to the rest and, My God, what an outcome. Thank you for making my Thanksgiving wonderful. Now I need a nap.

I love Ina's show. She is my favorite chef. I was disappointed in this recipe that she did not give her method of how she would roast the turkey. Did she cover it with tin foil?
Did she have a cover with the roasting pan, etc? This was very important to me as I would like to make a moist, evenly browned turkey.
