    This was the first year that I hosted the thanksgiving dinner and this turkey was fabulous. Very simple, very moist and very fragrant. Loved it and will do it again.

    You can actually taste a little of the lemon, onion and thyme in the turkey that it was stuffed with. Super easy to make and the butter I put under the skin as I saw her do on the show - rather than on top of the skin. Just delicious! Very easy to make too!

    My husband and I made this for dinner guests the other night and were pleased with the outcome. The turkey looks beautiful when cooked and the house smells so fragrant with the citrus and fresh thyme. We had a 12.2 lb turkey and had to cook it 30 minutes extra. Meat was tender. Just would have liked a little more spices in the mix. Very subtle flavor.

    I have a small family and didn't want to spend the money on a big turkey. I tried this recipe with a chicken and it was perfect.
    For smaller budgets, I used butter and spices under the skin and quartered a half lemon for the cavity. It was delicious!

    What a wonderfull recipe! Moist,flavorful,perfect size for a small group of people, comes out looking beautiful from the oven and easy.If I had to give a roast turkey recipe to a new cook...this would be it! Thanks, Ina!
