I saw this recipe a few days ago and wanted to try it. Needless to say after doing what the instructions said our turkey today was without a doubt the best tasting bird I and others have ever had!

Wonderful recipe and one I will be passing on to other family members.

I've personally never used the recipe, I'm actually making it for thanksgiving, but yeah oranges would do fine. I'm actually going to add oranges to the lemons, for mine, you can do a combination, or just oranges and it will turn out. Good Luck!

I'm only 12 and I want to impress my mom so I'm cooking our thanksgiving dinner. (Yikes! I enjoy cooking and watch a lot of the cooking shows on food network, so I'm hoping I wont burn anything.... And my mom hates lemons. So i need to either know how strong the lemon taste is or if I can substitute it with oranges with out it being too sour. If anyone can help with some advice that would be great, thanks. :D

This is the second time i made turkey and its a success! Turkey came out moist and flavorful. The drippings for the gravy is so tasty. 2 1/2 hrs in the oven is the right time. This is a perfect thanksgiving turkey i've ever had. I love your show and recipes! Many thanks!
