Ina can do no wrong in my book! This recipe is so incredibly easy, but so incredibly tasty. I almost always have a jar of Ina's pesto in my fridge or freezer, but when I've really been in a time or budget crunch, I've used good-quality store-bought pesto and it works just fine. My boyfriend hates peas - he insists he's "allergic" - and even he loves this salad. It's a staple in my kitchen!

This was very good. I make another, old fashioned 7-layer pea salad and instead of cooking the peas, I just put them in a colander and run hot water on them as I toss them around. Works just fine and removes the whole cooking step. This is a great easy salad though.

Easy, easy and delicious. Loved that the salad was so appealing and nutrient dense. This recipe is a keeper.

This is a beautiful, easy salad. I have made it several times and it is easy to substitute lettuce if you need to. Fabulous

We made this salad in a hurry by memory. It was SO GOOD. Since we didn't have the recipe, the only thing we did different was to add about 1/3 cup of parmesan cheese to the pesto and use toasted walnuts. So much flavor and such a great change from the usual boring salad! We ate it with panko encusted salmon.

Delicious. So easy to make, few ingredients, but great flavor. A nice surprise twist on a salad. I served this at a brunch party and the guests loved it!
