Fabulous recipe. We're a pineapple juice loving crowd so this was a great idea. I changed the recipe as such: 1-1/4 cups lime juice (I refuse to squeeze 20 limes!, 3-1/2 cups canned Dole pineapple juice, quantities as stated in recipe for alcohol (I used Patron. I poured it into a pitcher and served on the rocks. Super easy recipe made on the fly for a picnic.

MMMMMM so good! Busted out the shaker and cut the recipe in half for a smaller crowd (of 2 and only had canned pineapple juice and cointreau, but we found this recipe completely delicious!

We loved these although we found the lime a bit too much so we cut it to 1 cup. We've made these 4 times now and enjoyed the second batch with a neighbor, who in turn, shared their next batch with a neighbor and so it goes. I shared the recipe (before I ever made it with some gals at work. We all made it the same weekend and they didn't really enjoy them - but they used limeade instead of lime juice and they consistently enjoy the premade drinks in single serving units (ie: TGI Friday's drinks, margarita in a sleeve, etc. This has become a summertime favorite and we'll entertain with them again and again.

This was amazing!!! I quartered the recipe to make two drinks and used; 1/2 cup sauza gold tequila, 1/2 cup triple sec, 1 cup fresh pineapple, and about 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (from 6 limes I blended the pineapple in my blender and then added and blended the other ingredients. I poured the mixture into a pitcher with 2 cups ice and shook before serving. This was delicious ~ in the future I may reduce the limes to 5, I liked the 6 but my husband would like it a little less tart.

I liked this, but it was a little tart and I prefer tart to sweet. I think it could have a little more pineapple juice. I used the can juice and it worked fine. I like the flavor of alcohol but it did seem to overwhelm the flavor so probably would add lots of ice or more pineapple juice. It would be perfect as a slushy drink. I used the white tiquela as that is all I had though I thought she used the gold on her show. I think I will go back to the regular margarita before I make this again.

I think it was pretty good. I had some canned pineapple so I used the juice left in the can. Used gold Tequila. The rest I followed exactly. I was surprised - it was better than expected. I do not really like triple sec or anything of 'fake' flavor in my drinks, but the recipe worked well. Also, very easy and fast to make.

Delicious! I used canned pineapple juice so decreased the lime juice slightly to 1 1/2 cups and increased the pineapple juice to about 2 3/4 cup. Perfect! Must be served icy cold - mixed it ahead of time and refrigerated for several hours and kept the pitcher iced during service. Fabulous, well balanced flavors, very refreshing!

Ina, your a woman after this gay man's heart! I absolutely love these! I think I got your episodes of Watermelon and Pineapple Margarita's confused, so, when I went to the store I got Gold Tequila. I don't ordinarily use Triple Sec as I prefer Cointreau or Grand Marnier. I think Triple Sec has a medicinal flavor, but, You are right! The fresh lime juice is the key! Can't wait to try your Watermelon Margaritas! Thanks again! P>S> I have added a citrus juicer to my kitchen all because of you!
