I made this recipe using 2 lbs of peaches and 1/2 pint of blueberries. It turned out really great and was so easy to make. The flavor of the fruit came out very well and the crumble topping was just the right accent without being over powering as in some peach cobbler type recipes with heavy dough crusts. Leftovers were good the next day since there was no crust to get soggy. The peaches I used were typical grocery store fare - not really ripe and kind of hard. The sweetness of the end result was perfect for my taste. If you have more of a sweet tooth, you may want to increase the amount of sugar. Thanks for a great recipe Ina!!!!

This crumble really wasn't that good. The skins of the plums do not break down. I did not like having to make that extra effort to chew the skin. Prefer a dessert's ingredients to blend and melt together. They didn't in this crumble.

This is a really easy dish to prepare and it is fantastic. I would suggest adding a little more flour to the fruit mixture if your fruit is very ripe or your crumble will turn out runny.

This is the easiest recipe with the best results. I change up the fruit all of the time, depending on what is seasonal. My family's favorite is apple and blueberry.

Loved the recipe though substituted strawberries for the raspberries which worked very well. Plums had a bit of bite which worked beautifully. Will definitely make again
