This is just like the wonderful farm stand fruit desserts that I usually buy where I live on Long Island. I made this and it was completely devoured by 3 adults! The best time to make this is when the plums are in peak season late Aug-Sept, this way they will not be tart. You also have to use red plums, they are sweeter. I will definately make this again.

I used fresh peaches instead of plums. It was the topping that makes it so extra delicious!

I substituted peaches (just picked from my tree and raisins. I served it warm with vanilla ice cream. The crowd went wild!

I will be making this all year round with whatever fruit is in season.

I bet this would be delicious with cranberries and blueberries for Thanksgiving. A nice alternative to pie!

Quick and easy recipe and east to substitute different fruit. First time I made it, I used red plums and blackberries, and topped with French vanilla ice cream of course.

I don't bake often, but this was super easy and delicious. Everyone had a second helping! I don't have a food processor so instead I diced the butter and mixed it with my hands - worked perfectly. Enjoy!

This was great. I used the Peaches instead of the Plums and it was great. I will be making this again.

I made this with peaches and blueberries. Local for TN region and it was fabulous! I think this recipe will go well with most fruit combinations. Everyone that tried it loved it. I'm going to try other variations and see what happens!

This is one of the best desserts I have ever had. I will continue to make this over and over for company. Followed to the "T" and it was delicious, I wouldn't change a thing.
