For people who like light desserts, this tart offers the perfect sweetness with a hint of sourness from the plums. It's light and you can eat more than a slice without feeling like you've overeaten! I just served this dessert at a dinner gathering tonight at my house and it was a hit! My husband doesn't like nuts, but he loved this dessert! Thank you so much, Ina, you're certainly one of my favorite chefs!

My husband and just finished the plum tart last night and we both loved it. I served it slightly warm with a good vanilla ice cream. Will try with other fruits. Thinking nectarines next; peaches might be too juicy. Did not add any other sugar as another reviewer did and found it definitely was not needed. Thank you, thank you Ina. You are one of my favorites! Now I have to get busy and make my husband's favorites for his birthday today; German Chocolate Cake. The longest part of that is making the Coconut-Pecan Frosting.

I made this tart recently for a party and it was a hit. I used 2 cups for the crust and prune plums were not available so I used black plums. Came out great, everyone wanted the recipe.
Thank you Ina, always delicious!

This recipe is simple to make and not overly sweet - we served ours topped with whipped cream. Made one yesterday and it was finished so I had to make another today for company visiting. Family rated - Very, Very, Very Good.

Wow! So easy and delicious every time. This is my third time making your Plum Tart and it couldn't be better. Just the right sweetness, texture, and flavor. However I do find the 1 1/2 cups of dough not quit enough for a 9 1/2 inch tart pan. So I ajusted it to 2 cups. Which leaves the perfect amont of crumble for the topping. Thank you again Ina for all your great receipe's.
