I did as others said using 1 part juice to 2 parts sparkling water. The first time, I used the lime. It sure was tart!! Second time, I omitted the lime. It was much better; okay, but not great.

I love this drink and it really doesn't matter if the portions are exact. You can make it to your own taste. I quit drinking soda years ago to cut down on calories and don't even add the sugar. I find it very refreshing without it! I call it a spritzer and make it with lots of different fruit juices.

This soda is just another in a long line of fabulous recipes from the Barefoot Contessa. Please give us more of her on the Food Network...She's one of just a handful of excellent stars that I will watch day or night !!

This is a very refreshing brunch drink. The prior reviewer is correct - Ina mixed this drink 1/3 juice to 2/3 sparkling water. I did not have any superfine sugar so I added one packet of Splenda. It was just right and not too sweet.
For the more demanding guest - a shot of vodka really takes it up a notch.

The drink was great...I also use it to cut back on the use of sugary soft drinks. Juice is a tad better. However, this recipe is wrong. Ina said to use 1/3 juice to 2/3 sparkling water. It is not a 50/50 ratio as stated in the recipe. Why can't the Food Network folks catach errors like this? It happens quite often...a descrepancy beteen the show and the printed recipe. I have caught quite a few of these switch-er-roos in Rachael Ray's recipes. For us budding cooks, well, it drives us nuts!

I liked this recipe because it was so easy, although it was too tart to get 5 stars. (It just needs more sugar.

This drink looked so good on television so I thought that I would treat my family to a refreshing beverage. I bought the Pomwonderful juice and put lime slices in juice but it was terrible. It was so tart that we didn't even drink 1/4 of the recipe.
