    I cannot imagine Jeffries grandmother making latkes with clarified butter and no onions -the house lacked the comforting smell of latkes an called on no comforting memories.
    Tomorrow night I will use oil and onions.

    As all the recipes from my favorit show Ina Garten Barefoot contessa. The best, I loved it, so easy inexpensive and just a few ingredients.

    Simple and good. Compare this recipe to all others listed on the Food Network...the flavor is clear, texture is crisp, easy and inexpensive to make.
