I just made this for Thanksgiving yesterday and everyone LOVED it! It was praised over and over by my guests! I tweeked it ever so slightly...by omitting the zest (I just wasn't sure if it I would like it or not using 1 and a half large bananas instead of just 1 (u REALLY get the banana taste when u use more than the recipe calls for...yum! and a tiny bit extra cinnamon & nutmeg. Make sure you purchase brand name graham crackers (Keebler, Nabisco, etc, as opposed to no frills/store brands. They make a much tastier crust with a better texture. I can't wait to make this tart for my friends at Xmas. Thanks Ina!

I tried this recipe to do something new and delicious for Thanksgiving. It was just that. I couldn't believe how simple it was either. I will definately be making this part of my family's Thanksgiving tradition!

I liked the texture of the tart, but the flavors just didn't work for me. I thought it had too much nutmeg and orange, not enough banana. It is also very sweet. I probably won't go to the effort to tweak it, too much trouble.

I served this dessert last night at a dinner party. The combination of flavors was very interesting. Everyone raved about how delicious it was. Thanks Ina, you've got another hit!

This recipe is fabulous and I don't even like pumpkin! I've been trying to develop a taste for it because my whole family loves it. This recipe is terrific. I decided to use ginger snaps for the crust in place of the graham crackers (everyone knows that pumpkin and ginger are a match made in heaven!. Whirrling the cookies in the food processor until I had two cups of finely crushed crumbs, I added the stick of butter but omitted the rest of the crust ingredients (the cookies are already sweet and spiced I then followed the rest of the recipe. The only other thing I changed was adding the zest of one whole orange (about 1 tablespoon and the result was a wonderful fresh tasting dessert. Ina, you've hit another home run!!

This was a surprise hit! As always with Ina's recipes, came out to perfection. Wonderful combo, not grossly sweet as most pumkin pies can be. The banana really matches wonderfully with the pumpkin. Forget pumpkin pie, this will be my standard Thanksgiving dessert. Just awesome. Thank you Ina!

So good--I now make this every Thanksgiving instead of the standard pumpkin pie. Even those who are not crazy about pumpkin pie love this pie because the pumpkin taste is toned down by the bananas.

I like pumpkin, but I lost my love of pumpkin pie when I was a kid. It is good to have an alternative that is close enough to seem traditional but different enough to have a flavor that stands out. This was a big hit at my Thanksgiving dinner party. I ended up making three of them over the holidays for various parties. I like the lightness and richness of flavor and the fact that it incorporates two desert flavors that I like a lot--pumpkin and banana. Plus, it's pretty easy.
