I made it without the bananas, and it was outstanding. However, I would make it a day ahead of when you plan on serving it if possible. It was good day of, but the next morning, it was so much better!

This turns out perfect. If you want to cut a few calries, use phylo dough or the crust. You have to reinforce the sides and the bottom, be creative!

Perfect recipe - airy and flavor-packed. The banana add an amazing combination of mouthwatering flavors. Mu husband whom always have disliked the taste of pumpkin tried it and said it was delicious. My family loved this recipe. Thank you Ina.

This tart was simply delicious. My children loved it and my husband raved, saying he gives this recipe 6 stars. I thought it was delicious as well as beautiful. We didn't want to cut into it. Thank you

Im suprised to see a few ratings say that this tart lack spice and flavor. I thought it was very flavorful. So much so, I would use only 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon of the orange zest though, instead of 1 ful teaspoon. A little to much orange flavor. But is was smooth, rich and a little something extra than just your normal pumkin. Everyone loved it at out dinner.

I brought it to a party and it was the only dessert that the guests were eating. It is such a sophicated dessert and I can't believe I made it! Did I mention it is absolutely out of this world! I know I can rely on Ina! Thank you!

It looked so great on show, I immediately went shopping for the ingredients. The recipe was super easy to follow. The only bad (yet good part of the whole thing, was that it was too rich for my family's taste. I ended up eating it by myself over the week. It kept well. The banana and orange zest really added a differnt taste to the pumpkin tart. Overall, it was very good.

This tart was very good and once chilled, very cool and refreshing. When I watched the preparation of it on TV, I was impressed. I liked how the gelatin gave firmness to the chilled filling. Mine set up really well and was easy to slice. Thanks for another delicious pumpkin recipe, Ina.
