I thought this was very good, a little on the sweeter side. But a very nice change for something a little different for dessert.

Great recipe!! Instead of making the mousse from scratch I used a base I purchased from DessertsNowdotcom. This dessert was a great hit with the family and will be used for years to come!!

This was fabulous! It was a big hit with everybody this past Thanksgiving. They want it again for Christmas. Plus it was very easy and didn't take much time. Thank you Ina for sharing a family recipe. Much appreciated.

This is awesome. Those who complain about the overwhelming taste of orange might have added too much. And if you dont want to taste banana in your pumpkin dessert then don't make a recipe titled Pumpkin BANANA Mousse Tart. This was a great recipe and my family loved it!

I made this last night for our mini-Thanksgiving dinner and we all loved it, including my 4.5 year old. We all could really taste the banana, but we did not find it overwhelming. It is not traditional pumpkin pie so if that is what you are looking for, look elsewhere. But if you want something a little different but still pumpkin-y, this is a fantastic option.

This looked so good on television, The one tsp of orange rind overpowered the pumpkin taste and the hint of banana also masked the pumpkin taste. I would recommend one or the other but not both. Either choose orange zest as your complimentary flavor or banana but not both, depending on your preference. As for me, if I made this recipe again, I would leave both out and focus on the pumpkin as the other flavors are just too overpowering for the pumpkin. Like another poster said, I was disappointed, and went for the old fashioned pumpkin pie afterwards. Needless to say, this tart was thrown into the trash which I hate to waste food, but no one would eat it. However, I love INA! She is awesome and I have tried many of her delicious recipes for years. She is one of my favorites on food network. Her lemon garlic chicken is out of this world!

Just made this last night. I used fresh pumpkin that I cooked down and I omitted the banana. I really liked the texture and flavor. Here's what my 7 year old says about the recipe (she helped me make it: I liked The pumpkin mousse Tart because it is Excellent The fresh whipped cream Tastes like ice cream! Thanks for giving us This recipe Barefoot Contessa! I love your show Ina! Love: Tory.

I made this yesterday for dessert and was dissapointed. The pumpkin- banana combo just didn't work for me. After making it I just wanted moms old fashioned pumpkin pie!
