So good! My family and coworkers love it. As everyone else has said, it was easy to make and so wonderful to eat. Thank you Ina!

I've made this dessert twice and both times I was amazed how delicious and easy it was! The second time I made this dessert I used 16 oz. of the mascarpone and finely diced the candied ginger then re-sugared it. This seemed to help the ginger become better incorporated into the mascarpone and powder sugar mixture. I served it for Thanksgiving and received rave reviews from all.

Very good. The timings are a little bit off ( it took 15 mins to cook and about an hour and 15 mins to cool but it might just be my stove. Everyone raved about it at Thanksgiving.

This is my 3rd year making this for Thanksgiving. Everyone was a little freaked out the first time I made it, since they'd never had mascarpone cheese or crystallized ginger. Now it is a family favorite, requested every year by everyone from my dad to all the kids. And it really isn't very hard!

All I have to say is that this was the best dessert I've ever had. I was a little intimidated at first by the "difficult" rating. But I tried it anyways & let me tell you, it wasn't all that hard. Just many steps. Was very glad I made it. It was DELISH! My friends devoured it and really, I wish I had made more than 1. As the holiday started to approach this year, they asked if I were going to be making the same dessert and also asked if I would be making one each for them lol : I look forward to this dessert every year now!
Thanks INA! This was fantastic!

Loved it! I couldn't find mascarpone cheese so I substituted cream cheese with a little sour cream. I really made this for my daughter who loves everything pumpkin. My family are traditionalists who don't like when you change up the holiday menu but they thought this was fantastic and begged me to make it a regular at our holiday gatherings. It's a wonderful dessert - thanks Ina for another great recipe!

This is awesome! It is listed as difficult but I don't agree. Very rich and delicious. A show stopper. However, when I make it again, I will cut back on the ginger in the filling.

I made this last year for Christmas, I thought it was very good. I thought the ginger in the pumpkin roll was kind of strong. I would like to make it again and cut the ginger in half instead of equal ginger and cinnamon . I love the mascarpone filling, I think I would cut back the amount of crystal ginger also.
