Unbelievably wonderful and I don't eat radishes. This is the surprise of surprises. Love to see the look on friends faces when they take their first bite. It is SOOOO unexpectedly delicious. And the nice thing is you can always have these ingredients at home, for an appetizer.
    LOVED IT!!!

I sliced the radishes and assembled into a sandwich. Yummy.

The butter has a lot of flavor, but it too salty for us. I would cut down on the salt and lemon juice.

How on Earth could something SO simple be so good? I, like a previous reviewer, like to slice the radishes to have on top of toasted bread. I always use Euro-style butter (Plugra is my favorite. I don't care much for radishes, yet somehow, this is one of my favorite canapes. Who knew? Simple, elegant, and delicious.

The bread is absolutely amazing smeared with the beautiful herb butter. The radishes are a great crisp, clean flavor alongside the bread. Wonderful.

These were just fresh and delicious! I did sub lemon zest for juice in the butter and then thinly sliced the radishes and placed on top of toasted, cooled and buttered bagettes---- then a sprinkle of coarse salt! Wow!
I think by putting the sliced radishes on the bread made them easier to just pick off the platter and enjoy.
Thanks, Ina, for yet another simple sensational recipe!

This is stupid easy and so very, very tasty and refreshing. The simple and unusual herb combo for the butter was wonderfully flavorful. I sliced my radishes on a mandoline and put several layers of radishes on a buttered baguette slice. An additional light sprinkle of sea salt and some radish sprouts on top really finished these beauties off! Guests ate more of these than any other h'or doerves. This is a keeper for us!

I grated the radish directly into the herb butter (II like the radish flavor, but I'm not really into huge chunks of radishes. I'll serve this on top of pan fried potato cubes, bread or poached eggs. delish!

I've made this before and sliced the radishes and put it on top of the bread, now that it's summer, I grilled some Chibatta (sp? bread and once I took it off, I slathered it in the herb butter - I think it was the best part of the meal. I will now be making this for the 4th of July cookout. ps. you don't need to mix it in a machine, just use very room temperature butter and mix with whatever you have on hand. Yahoo......loved it.
