great recepie.I did not have dark brown sugar only light. The cookies came out a bit harder but it gave me an idea. Next time I made them I added lots of extra goodies in it and let the cookies completely dry out after bakng them.Shaped them as biscotties before baking and now I have a perfect recepie for my own energy bar and biscotti. DEPENDS.Dipping the biscotties into raspberry liquor is heavenly.

These cookies were wonderful. I followed recipe the first time and they were great! The next time I put Chocolate chips instead of the raisins, they were wonderful as well. I am also going to try them with toffee chips and craisins! Thanks for a great cookie recipe!

Delicious!! Better than any other oatmeal cookies I've made. Crispy outside, soft inside. The only changes I made was using only 1/2 cup brown sugar, and a 1/4 cup of Splenda Sugar Blend. They are plenty sweet enough that way.

Not bad, still kinda sweet. Made this the first time and I'm glad to have reduced the white sugar to 1/2 cup as suggested from one of the reviewer and she was right to say that a little less than 1/2 cup would do just great. I didn't care for raisins so I used dried cranberries instead. Don't know if I'll make this recipe again ... I have a recipe that is almost similar to this one and includes bittersweet chocolate chips in it. Thanks for the recipe tho, Ina. I do enjoy watching your show and have cooked some of your delicious recipes. Thanks again! *^_^
