As usual, Ina RULES. Pretty easy recipe to follow. Brought to a picnic...the whole batch disappeared so FAST. Texture and taste of cookies was fabulous. I made one mistake...I was lazy and bought the pre-chopped pecans. I did roast them but I think the cookies would have had a stonger pecan flavor with whole pecans. So use whole pecans, roast them as Ina instructs, chop them up and add to the batter!

I've tried several recipes for this type cookie and this is by far the best. However I did double the cinamon. All of Ina's recipes are 5 star.

This is the best ever raisin pecan oatmeal cookie!! I did'nt have extra large eggs, so I used 3 medium eggs and added about 1/2 cup of scotch chips.

    They are wonderful!!!!

I was fearful they would be dry, but they were incredibly moist! I will never buy store bought again.

These are the best oatmeal cookies I have ever made. They are nice and moist on the inside and the pecans make a nice crunch. Thanks!

I have tried many recipes for oatmeal raisin cookies. This turned out the best. Lots of oats make it almost like a breakfast treat. I used fresh pecans from southern New Mexico. Delicious.

I substituted the granulated doe stevia, and microwaved the raisins in 1/4 c water to soften and substituted flax seed milled and whole wheat flour with only 1/2c all purpose flour and they came out great. I also halved the recipe to be sure they came out right.

These are the best oatmeal cookies ever! Make sure you don't over cook them though or they will come out very crispy.
