These are great. I split 1 batch into 2 & (hate to say it ate one batch by myself with no help from anyone.

Boyfriend took 2nd batch home & said they are the 2nd best cookies. He claimed his mom made better. When asked when was the last time she made them, turns out I now have moved into first place position.

Ina thank you so much. So far all the recipes that I have tried from watching your show has turned out fantastic. Especially the steaks. Boyfriend never asks for left overs & the extra one I made, I was planning on taking to work for lunch, he ask to take it home.

    Can't wait to try more......

Another fabulous cookie recipe from Ina and the best I've ever made. Used 1/4 cup less granulated sugar. Rather than all raisins, I used dried cherries, dried cranberries and raisins divided evenly........ it was absolute perfection. Had to put them in the freezer before they were all gone. Lots of accolades go to Ina for this wonderful recipe.

I was looking for a good Oatmeal cookie recipe. After reading the reviews on these cookies, I decided to try them. WOW is all I can say. Neither my husband nor I can leave them alone; they are that good. I used Craisins instead of raisins and the slight tartness of the craisins and the sweetness of the sugars evened out the taste perfectly. I can't say enough about these cookies. This will be the only Oatmeal recipe I use from now on. Thank you Ina for giving us this wonderful recipe.

Absolutely delicious! I used cranberries instead of raisins and put about 3/4 cup of each of the sugars instead of 1 full cup. Turned out perfect!

I am not a fan of oatmeal cookies, but I was watching this episode and the cookies looked good. I though they were the best oatmeal cookies I have ever had and so did everyone I gave them to. I always make my cookies bigger then the recipe called for and it still made alot. I used a little less raisins because I'm not a fan, but other then that followed the recipe and was very suprised how good they were.

Holy cow! These cookies are to die for. I am not a fan of oatmeal cookies, let alone raisins in them. I made these for the hubby, but had to try one. I am in oatmeal heaven right now! This is a super simple recipe, and extremely delicious! Thank you Ina! This will go into my book of all time favorite recipes. Gotta go! I have another cookie callin' me. :

I made Ina's fabulous cookies and can't lay off of them. I substituted dried cranberries and dried currants instead of raisins. My family does not like raisins and I had the other dried fruit. They are simply the best!

I just made these cookies and they are soooooooooooo good! I replaced the raisins and walnuts with dark chocoalte chips and dried cherries and the substitution is a huge hit. The base recipe is the best cookie I've ever made.
