I saw her show yesterday and wanted to make these cookies but did not have enough pecans or enough of any one type of nut. So, my cookies had a combination of chopped almonds, walnuts and pecans. Otherwise, I followed the recipe exactly and they are fabulous.

Has Ina ever steered us wrong? These are great tasting cookies, I used light brown sugar instead of dark but otherwise followed it exactly.

These are the best oatmeal cookies I ever made or ate! I saw Ina making these yesterday on her show and remembered I had some oatmeal left over from a dud recipe I tried last week so today I made them for my coworkers to enjoy tomorrow at work. So of course I had to taste them to know what they tasted like and and OMG! so chewy and a bit crunchy just the way I like them and ummm... ..well ....... uh ... I ate so many that not every co worker will get one tomorrow. Thank you Ina for a delicios cookie recipe that will keep my co workers calling me the Cookie Lady!

I'm not a big fan of oatmeal raisin cookies, but my husband is. However, I found these to be incredible both in taste and smell! They were quite easy to make and made more than the recipe said (or I used a smaller scoop. Definitely a treat!

OMG, these cookies were absolutely delicious!!!! Oatmeal raisin cookies are my absolute fave and I have yet to find a recipe that I've been 100% satisfied with but know I have. I love that they are full of raisins and pecans... some oatmeal raisin cookies leaves a lot to be desired but not so with these. I've just found my oatmeal raisin cookie recipe to go to!!!
