AMAZING! I was in need of a chewy oatmeal raisin cookie and this recipe delivers. It's now forever in my cookbook.

Sooo very yummy! I don't have any paddle attachemnts so I used a regular hand mixer and it worked just fine. I brought these to work and they were gone within 15 minutes! I did re-hydrate the raisins in hot water for 10 min and it made all the difference. Best oatmeal cookie ever!

Tasty is an understatement! My husband had them after dinner and with his coffee the next morning. Started to bake them the night before but couldn't finish. Put the batter in the fridge and baked the next day. They were delicious!

The best oatmeal cookies ever. Don't use pre-chopped pecans, I did that once and they were a bit too pecany-nutty tasting. Use the whole pecans, toast and chop them like the recipe says. I tried to cut a corner and they are way better with the whole pecans chopped by hand. Delish delish delish!!

This recipe is a definite keeper. These are cripsy on the ourtside and chewy inside. It's exactly waht a good raisin oatmeal cookie is supposed to taste like . The pecans give it a nice crunch . I will definitely use this recipe again . I love most recipes of Ina

Wow! Delicious! I reduced the granulated sugar by 1/4 cup, and they're still very sweet. I also soaked the raisins in hot water for 10 mins to plump them up, and then drained them and let them cool for 10 mins. Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside - great recipe!

I'm not much of a baker but I made these about a year ago and then again today. I loved them the first time. I have really been working on my cooking skills and I have to say I still really like these but this time when I made them I found them to be just a little bit too sweet. They are still REALLY good, but next time I will cut back on the white sugar a bit. I also used dried cranberries because I am not a raisin fan. Next time I may soak the cranberries. Love your recipes Ina!
