These were so good especially when warm. Light, not heavy like some scones. I added some lemon zest for a little punch. This recipe would be a good base for almost any additions like cranberrys, blueberries, dried cherries, Chocolate chips even. Makes enough to share and freeze. Good job Ina!

The texture is great but these are virtually tasteless. Plan on slathering them with raspberry butter.

Light, flaky, melt-in-your-mouth!!! The very best scones I have ever had! I also tried adding orange zest and orange glaze --- fabulous! I ate one three days later and it was still wonderful.

This is such a wonderful recipe. I substituted the raisins with fresh blueberries. This turnded out great! I will definitely make this again!

These scones really melt in your mouth, especially when served with Raspberry Butter. They are a perfect start to brunch.
