I made this recipe for tonight's dinner after seeing it in my "Family Style" cookbook. It was absolutely delicious, but by far, the ugliest cheesecake I've ever seen. I followed the recipe to a "T" but the bottom was burned, the sides cracked, and there was a big "X" cracked in the middle. Would a lower oven temp help? The sauce was easy and delicious. You'd never guess it was just jelly and berries.

I made this for our friends and I was literally "Queen" for the day..... they still rave about it, and my husband, who is a huge fan of a certain Chicago-Cheesecake maker thought he had died & gone to heaven!!

I have made this for a couple of special occasions and it has been a huge hit both times. I have tried other recipes but will stick with this one from now on. It takes a while to make it but it is worth the work!

I would have given 5 stars for taste, but this thing cracked 20 minutes into cooking. I measured my pan, it is 9 inches exactly, and the batter came to the VERY top of the pan. I thought it might be too full, but trusted the recipe. It didn't spill over but it cracked all around the edge as well as the center. This is probably the most awful looking cheesecake I have ever made, but I did give it 3 stars because the taste was wonderful.

I made this cheesecake for Christmas this year, and it was amazing! It was easy to make, and everyone agreed that it was the best cheesecake any of us had ever eaten. I did have a couple of cracks in the top even with a little pan of water in he stove (we live at high altitude so I think that's why I get cracks, but with all the raspberries on top the cracks were covered and it looked as great as it tasted. I even took a picture of it. I will definitely make this cheesecake again. It's a new family favorite!
