Watch the video! The flavor was delicious with the A-1 and onions I added, but they didn't hold together on the grill. I was afraid to pack them too tightly, but next time I will. I watched the video after I made them and saw Ina pack them tightly in her hands when forming the burgers then throw them on the grill.

This is now the recipe I look for every time I make hamburgers!

I think these are fantastic! I added melted butter (3 tbsp per 2 lb of beef to my 80/20 beef and they were so moist. I left all other proportions the same. They were even good when my charbroiling husband grilled the heck out of them. Yuuumm!

melted in my mouth. It was soft and juicy but lacked flavor. There was no punch!I would guess more garlic, or sauce. The burger was very adequate but was not the best burger I ever had.

I tried the Real Hamburgers and it was great. I indoor grill the hamburgers and it turned out perfect. But I would put let salt because I have high blood pressure. This recipe would be good for Salisbury Steaks too.

Simple hamburger recipe that my family enjoyed. I skipped on the butter though but still came out moist. It was fabulous with grilled onions.

Good, but we thought they were a little too bland. The butter helps the flavor though.

Amazing Burgers! I skipped the butter and just used 80% lean meat to simplify the recipe. They were still delicious! Everyone says these are the best burgers they ever had-- so juicy and full of flavor. There is no need for the butter in my opinion if you want to make it healthier. The meat has enough flavor and fat. I served them with a grilled onion...amazing!

Does anyone else have any comment regarding the butter? That seems weird to me - Is the extra fat really necessary?

I have never found a recipe that tops this one. I love A-1 sauce and I think the combination with burgers with awesome. My husband still can't figure out how my burgers are so much better to everyone else. Thanks Ina!
