    As usual, Ina does it again. A simple, delicious meatball with just the right amount of seasoning and a great texture. Ina, when can I come to your house for dinner?

    This took a while to prepare and I seemed to dirty every bowl and pan in the house but the end result was very good and kept in the fridge very well.

    I made meatballs from another recipe but I made the sauce using Ina's recipe and it was absolutely delicious!!! The only thing I changed was that I cooked up 2 Italian sausage links in a different pan then cut them up and added it (my boyfriend & I love lots of meat in the sauce. Oh boy... letting that simmer with the sauce made a huge difference. The juices from the sausage oozed out and really enhanced the flavor. Tasted even BETTER re-heated the next day. Highly recommend this recipe!!

    These meatballs are the best. Living
    near NY, you can't find great meatballs anywhere. These remind me of
    my mother-in-laws that took all day to
    make due to the sauce. The sauce and
    meatballs are delicious.

    I am a good critic and a tough critic. I think that both the sauce and meatballs are really good. This is a recipe worth making and then repeating. It is comfort food-nothing fancy.

    I made this recipe, with all beef because I couldn't get the pork and didn't want to use veal. It came out fantastically well.
    I invited friends over for an informal dinner and it was the perfect dish.
    The sauce was fantastic, too.

    this recipe is pretty good but when i'm gonna have spaghetti n meatballs i want it to be out of this world! i still haven't found the perfect recipe.

    I didn't use nutmeg and it was excellent. I'm serving this for some close friends for our hoiday dinner this weekend.
