The reason I rated it with 5 stars was to not bring the rating down. What really bugs me is that people would rate a recipe before trying it. That is truly unfair. This is not a cheap recipe to make. Framboise is not cheap. Neither are the raspberries. This is unfair to grade something in advance. Some people don't bother to read the reviews before they make a recipe. I happen to love Ina's recipes. But would never consider rating a recipe before I tried it.

I HAVE MADE THIS RECIPE AND WOULD LOVE TO TRY THIS RECIPE FOR CHRISTMAS; AND I ALSO MISSED THE BEGINNING OF IT. THE STARS ARE FOR INA BEING A GREAT COOK. AFTER I PRINTED THE RECIPE I RAN TO TRY IT AND IT IS DELICIOUS. I ALSO HAD A HARD TIME FINDING FRAMBOISE,SO I MADE SOME MYSELF ALSO. YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought this looked like it might be a really good recipe so I went on line to see the reviews before preparing it. None of you have actually tried it and one of you gave it only one star without having tried it. This brings down the rating unfairly.

Why do people rate a recipe without actually trying it. I realize that I am putting in a rating also without having tried it, but I was SO frustrated by what I saw that I just had to comment. Is anyone else frustrated by this????

After I try this, I WILL come back in and rate it.

I made some raspberry liqueur (vodka and raspberries and simple sugar weeks ago and am eager to use some in this beautiful dessert. I have made many of Ina's recipes and every one comes out perfectly. Can't wait to try this for the holiday!

I missed that part also. I googled Framboise and it's a raspberry liquer. This looks really good and I think I'll try it for one of our holiday desserts. All of Ina's recipes that I've tried have always tasted great!

I started watching the show after it had already started and missed the beginning of this fabulous Red Berry Trifle receipe. I'm not sure what you mean by Framboise ? Please advise.
I love Trifles as they are usually a hit at parties!.
