Ina strikes again! As with all of her recipes that I have tried, this is just fabulous. I did reduce the amount of vinegar to 3 tablespoons and rinsed the capers so that it wasn't too vinegar-y. It's is a delicious change of pace instead of a boring green salad. Thanks Ina!

I watched the episode and the posted recipe differs a little. Not a big deal as it is just a salad and you can gauge as you go. I added 3 roasted red peppers instead of 2 JARS of roasted red peppers. I also did not divide the vinegar...I made the vinegrette with it all and poured 1/2 over the artichokes; added the rest of the veggies and then the rest of the vinagrette. I also made it the night before to let the flavors blend. Followed everything exactly the same andwas excellent. Love using frozen artichokes instead of canned- they taste like artichoke instead of brine. Served it along with the baked scampi with linguine. Keeper, simple; awesome.

really wonderful..my family loved it...followed the recipe but added two 8 oz packages of sliced mushoroms whcih i sauteed..I also added only 4 TBS of capers and it s still too much..next time i would do 3TBS ...after the flavors mellowed i would add only 2 TBS of champagen vinegar not 4 TBS since some family members thought it was a bit too vinegary...but overall raves....really great
