o.k i guess, i would rather marinate them in ceaser dressing, then grill them, after they are done, plunge them into the reserved dressing while they are hot, the dressing then gets sucked into the open pores. try that instead, youll like it

I have been using this method to cook asparagus and several other vegetables for many years. You can add garlic, grated cheese, balsamic - anything you desire and the vegetables are always good. Try adding herbs depending upon the vegetable chosen. Great way to cook vegetables.

This is OK. What I do is after the EVOO I add the juice of one lemon (drizzle over all, 3 tblsp. white wine, 3 cloves sliced garlic, (In place of salt grated parmisano and/or romano cheese liberaly distributed. Lower heat to 350* and cook until cheese starts to brown. (approx. 15 minutes

I thought the asparagus was tasty but a bit overdone. Twenty five minutes was way too long for the size and amount of asparagus used. Wish I would have read some of the reviews discussing this problem previously. All in all I will continue using this method but with less time and maybe doing garlic salt or parmesan like some others have suggested in their reviews.

This is my favorite way to cook asparagus. Try a little twist by adding garlic salt instead of plain salt, some dried tarragon and a little lemon to the marinating process.

My son and I love this recipe. I didn't used to like asparagus, but
want to eat more vegetables so I tried this recipe. This will be
something we make a lot. Thanks.
