I used the smaller asparagus so I only roasted them for 12 minutes and they were unbelievably wonderful!!

I loved it! The only thing I'll do differently the next time is to have it properly timed to come out of the oven and serve it immediately. Covering it with foil to keep it warm until my meat was finished made the asparagus a little softer at dinner table. My taste test ones when it first came out of the over were crispy and delicious! I'll time everything better the next time I serve it.

Oh my goodness!!! I made this last Sunday. My husband and I enjoy asparagus as does one of my three children. My husband said 'Well, I guess you won't be cooking asparagus any other way from now on?' I set my oven at 350 degrees and did cook for 25 minutes. However, I felt was too long and will shorten cooking time next time around. I used relatively thick asparagus but did find when going back for seconds the centers were soggy. Definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND skinny spears for this recipe.

This was a easy and delish dish. I found the cooking time was a bit shorter than stated, about 15-20minutes. Maybe because they were smaller asparagus. They were a nice compliment to my meal.

I usually like those pencil-thin asparagus but after watching Ina's show and hearing her talk about the different taste of the thicker ones, I went out on a limb and bought bigger ones. This couldn't have been simpler to get done and it was tasty but they were a little on the soft side. Still very good but I'll cook for spot-on 20 minutes the next time. I'm also going to try throwing in a little chopped shallot with the other ingredients. Nice way to get your veggies!
