I have actually been doing this already but I add a nice twist and sprinkle some grated or shredded Parmesan cheese for a little extra flavor!

This is one of those, "Duh! Why didn't I think of that?!" recipes. It's really delicious and SO simple. Just make sure your asparagus are nice and fresh; on the contrary they turn out disappointly tough. They're perfect with just the salt and pepper, but a little rosemary is a nice touch depending on what you'll serve them with.

This is my "go to" asparagus recipe. I use Colavita extra virgin olive oil on a rimmed Williams Sonoma baking sheet (highly recommended if you don't have one. Season with lots of kosher salt and cracked black pepper. Simply a perfect recipe that never fails. And my husband hates asparagus and won't eat it any other way.

I love asparagus anyway it is cooked! My husband always said he "hated asparagus", until I made this recipe. He loves it this way!! Thanks Ina for another delicious recipe!
