Too much salt. Kick it up a bit. Let char slightly. Place in bowl add small can strained mandarin oranges, toasted sliced almonds then drizzle with a tablespoon or so of honey - even non fans will love these brussel sprouts.

My family already liked brussell sprouts however they are much better roasted in the oven! I go lighter on the salt.

My wife made these for me yesterday as a surprise (she hates the smell of sprouts!. Unfortunately she forgot that I absolutely hate SALT... and as soon as I tried one I politely discarded it into a tissue and said 'did you put salt on these?... salt is all I can taste'.... Of course the answer was.... 'yep'! If you are going to make these then please remember... ask your dinner guest if they prefer salted or unsalted brussells.... didn't work for me.

My family was never very interested in brussel sprouts until I made them according to this recipe. Even my 7 year old loved them! I bought a fresh stalk which was fun! I cut the sprouts in half and roasted them flat side down in a roasting pan according to the directions. I let them roast a bit longer than the recipe suggested (about 10 minutes because we my family tends to favor "crispy". I served them with roasted split turkey breast and the meal was a big hit!

Simple, yet they taste like candy. You will instantly become a lover of brussel sprouts.

I made a batch of these for my family's Easter dinner to go with the country ham. I put them in a very unique antique dish that I found at local antique store. They were delicious, and everyone was so glad to enjoy a unique dish! I just love Ina's ideas for dishes as well as table settings.

These were awful. Dry and crispy. Never again!

So easy and so good. I added thin sliced yellow onion to the sprouts. I crumbled crispy bacon after they were done. We made 2 pounds and they were gone before I had a chance to get any. I will probably make more of them today. Thanks, this was excellent.

Delicious! So quick and easy to make - yet so yummy! My husband loves them, and I'm making it again tonight for friends.
