I was not a big fan of Brussel sprouts. I'd eat them, but didn't like them much, until I tried this recipe. I love these! The oven roasting makes them crisp and almost smoky on the outside and tender and sweet on the inside. I salt them pretty agressively, as directed, with a good sea salt but after biting into the sweetness inside it's just right. I have made several friends and family members fans of Brussel sprouts thanks to this recipe. Thanks Ina.

Unfortunately this recipe did not make me love brussels sprouts. I've never been a huge fan, but thought that maybe I was cooking them the wrong way. I still might give brussels sprouts a chance, but not with this recipe.

I just finished making these.. Oh wow! Absolutely divine! I had some melted butter I mixed with the Olive Oil.. I cut them in half and painted them with a little mix.. some seasoned salt and that's it! Thank you for posting this awesome recipe. Seems it's a little healthier than boiling all the goodness out of them and the browned edges have such an awesome flavor!

Just made these for the first time tonight - FABULOUS - next time I will for sure buy more - I cut them in half and cooked for 35 min at 400 degrees - loved the crispy sprouts the best - could become a weekly veggie dish :

Yum! I don't know what it is about roasting veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts that makes them so fantastic, but it does. Great!

This is a wonderful way to enjoy Brussels Sprouts! I prefer less salt and oil, but you can't beat the simplicity of this recipe!

I make this a couple times of year. Always delicious. I hated brussel sprouts as a kid but I love these.

These were amazing! I cut them in half and cooked them for 40 minutes at 400 with salt. The small ones came out really crispy, which I love, and the larger ones were more soft which my husband loved. I made other food but ended up gorging myself on just brussel sprouts!
