The brussel sprouts were delicious. I added sliced red onion and fresh garlic, forgot to shake the pan or stir. A few looked burned but didn't taste burned at all, just tasted a little dry.

I have only had brussels sprouts once in my life and that was as a kid. After reading all the reviews, I decided to give them another try. First mine burnt, and only after 30 minutes, turning half way through. I had to peel off the tough burnt outer leaves. They were tender. But still had that sharp sulphuric taste I remember as a kid. Next time, if I get the nerve up, I will try them with bacon or maybe brown sugar as some have suggested.

Love veggies roasted in the oven. Brussel sprouts are my favorite.
I halve them, toss them in good virgin oil, kosher salt/pepper, little garlic powder, and then place on cookie sheet.
Baked them for about 40 min at 375.
Sprinkle parmesean cheese on at serving time. Delicious.
Also do asparagus this way.

Never made Brussels sprouts until I tried this recipe a few years ago, and now make them on a regular basis! They're so easy to make and delicious! Soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, perfectly roasted, salty. Love them!

These are great, although you dont need to cook them for 35-40 minutes, more like 25-30.

Sprouts are the new IN veggie! I love Ina's recipe but I did make two changes. I added about 3T of balsamic vinegar and fresh garlic...toss in before you bake. Yes, they need to be uniform in size...the smaller the better! This way they get nice and crisp the longer they cook. I find that they need closer to 40 minutes to cook. Enjoy!

I truly hate to sound like everyone else that rated this recipe, but there really isn't anything else to be said...YUMMY!!! I've always been a fan of brussel sprouts yet I'd never roasted them such as this recipe suggests. I will ONLY use this recipe for brussel sprouts from now on. The one recommendation that I can make is to stay consistent with the size of the brussel sprouts that you purchase. A few of my large ones weren't quite cooked after 35 minutes. However, I ate them anyway...I couldn't stop myself!!! ;O

Super. Made it for thanksgiving and when i told my cousin i was bringing brussel sprouts - she was not keen about it. It was a hit amongst the non-veggie eaters. They were all gone and those that gave it a try ate it (w/ compliments - couldnt get the neices to try b/c they were "burnt"
