    What a great change from overboiled nasty sprouts. Finally, I get what people are talking about when they say that Brussels sprouts have a nutty flavor.

    Wonderful texture, not mushy at all. These are best eaten hot, right from the oven.

    These brussels sprouts were wonderful! Brussels sprouts are one of my husbands favorite vegetables, but not mine - until now! Crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside! This recipe will go on the "regular" list. They're way better than my Grandma's boiled balls of bitter from my childhood. GO INA!

    I grew up hating brussel sprouts...my mom boiled them! I tried Ina's recipe last night with little faith that I would like them and what a surprise...I loved them! Great job Ina. Thank you.

    This was my first time making brussel sprouts, and my first time reviewing a recipe. This recipe was so good, I had to write and let everyone know. It has been 4 days since Thanksgiving, and I still have people asking me for the recipe. The only thing I added was some pearl onions. They roasted beautifully with the brussel sprouts, and turned sweet and salty. Also, their shape went great with the recipe. It looked gourmet and tasted wonderful.

    I've never roasted brussel sprouts before., but this technique really brings out the sweetness of the vegetable. It was delicious even for people who normaly shy away from brussel sprouts.
