I saw this on Ina's thanksgiving show and had to make them that night. Oh, my gosh!!! They are soo delicious. The outside is all crispy and carmelized and the insides are perfectly tender-with none of the bitterness typically found in brussel sprouts. I did put garlic powder in with the S&P. They didn't even make it to our dinner platesj. My husband and I stood in the kitchen and ate them like popcorn!

By far, the easiest and the best dish that you will ever, ever, ever prepare.
ONE WORD OF ADVISE..... Roast them at the last minute, as they need to be eaten ASAP once out of the oven, otherwise, the outer cripiness will be lost.
IE, I would not cook more than needed with the idea of leftovers; they're just not that good the next day.
** When roasted, they lose the strong flavor that stove top cooked sprouts have. These are very mellow and creamy on the inside, crispy on the outside.

It's tough to get my husband to eat any green veggies except broccoli. When my husband asked for these again, I almost fell over. They are DELICIOUS! Thank you, Ina, for sharing this recipe with us.

I worked like a dog preparing all of my Thanksgiving specialties. Only to discover my guests favorite dish of the day was the easiest!
These were fantastic! I will never steam a b-sprout again.

I made this for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it! Even though we are not real brussel sprout fans, I will definately make this again. Very good!

I tried this dish and everyone loved it, even the kids who did not like brussel sprouts, I also did the same with asparagus like you suggested on another show and it was a hit. Now these two vegetables are my niece's favorite, but only if I roast them like this.

I always loved brussel sprouts and roasting them kicks up the flavor so much. I made these last Thanksgiving and it's going to be a standard from now on!

This recipe has made brussel sprouts my favorite veggie. I use crushed red pepper oil instead of just olive oil so it adds a lot of heat- soooo good!
