I have used this recipe for years and it is the only way I prepare sprouts. I add a drizzle of balsamic vinegar just before serving.

Delicious. I mince 1 or 2 cloves of garlic before tossing, and it is always a big hit with family and guests.

Fantabulous! During the last 5 - 10 mins I add @ 1T of European butter and my kids swear the brussels taste like popcorn. 'Poppers' are a weekly staple and the kids do snack on them; mind you I most often use frozen...Shout out to a woman at our local grocery who admonished my 7-year-old during her quest to put 10 bags of brussels into the baskart: "Do you know what 'those are'?" Cheerfully, my little one declared, "YES! They're POPPERS!".

I used to be a hater til I tried this. It is awesome. When roasted these babies are sweet and even the grandkids love them. To speed cooking I like to cut my sprouts in half. Also I have found that they cook up equally well in a fry pan on the cooktop. Just don't turn the temperature too high and make sure you stir them so they don't burn. One of our favorite suppers is pork chops, brussel sprouts and jasmine rice. I might just have to go thaw out the pork chops and cook this tonight! YUM!

LOVE these sprouts prepared the Ina way. Crisp, salty and sort of crunchy on the outside with a smooth, creamy interior ... the ONLY way to prepare what we used to call "vegetable golf balls" when I was a kid. PERFECT for weekdays and especially great with the upcoming Holiday meals!

I've been making this for several years ever since Ina did it on her show. Everyone loves it...everyone. I play with it...minced garlic, sliced shallots, flavored olive oils, a little "Slap yo Mamma", etc. In a pinch for time, I'll slice them and microwave them for maybe a minute or so...then pop them in a toaster oven and they're done if minutes.
