Thought about this recipe for days after seeing Ina make it, and then made it for friends for a party (which happened to be on Halloween. I love salads that have something different or quirky in them, and this was right on the money. Everyone really loved it! It was perfection for this autumn meal! (I served it with Claire Robinson's Pork Tenderloin with Hard Cider Gravy, which was also terrific. This salad is amazing! Love you, Ina!

The walnuts with the cranberries and butternut squash were amazing together. Great flavor and a great variety for butternut. Thanks Ina !

Yum! This was very good. I will make it again, but reduce the salt and olive oil in the dressing.

This salad is quick and elegant and has a very unique flavor that most guests will love! A few of my guests were hesitant when I told them it had butternut squash in it, but the way it is prepared makes it sweet and delicious with a perfect smooth texture. The only thing I changed was using spring mix instead of arugula, for added color and flavor. It was perfect!

This was the best salad we have ever had. I substituted baby spinach and pecans and followed the rest of the recipe to a tee. It was the best. I did throw in leftover chicken because it was for dinner but there is no need for that. Wonderful.

What a wonderful salad for cold wintery night. I will definately be making this salad for Thanksgiving dinner and as often as I can. Hubby loved it and he does not normally like arugula!

I do not like arugala, so I substituted spinach. Wow! I made it twice in one week. I was very surprised that a warm salad dressing would enhance the roasted butternut squash. It is also excellent with some grilled chicken. For a non "chef" like me it was easy and gets better each time.

saw the show and had to try this recipe. It's easy but no one would think it. I only had a 45 minutes to get dinner on the table. My sons future in laws were impressed with the dinner and there were no leftovers. it's a great complement with chicken.
Thank you Thank you Thank you!
