This sandwich was a great lunch for my girl's lunch (even though my husband wanted some too!. It was just some a great combination with no need for meat. I paired it with a tomato basil soup and Ina's Summer Fruit Crostata. Delicious and not overwhelmingly filling- you still feel like a lady after eating this! : Keep up the good work Ina.

I made these as a finger sandwich/appetizer for a family gathering. Everyone loved them and wanted more. I will definitely make these again and again. Roasted shredded chicken would be a great addition, but not necessary. Amazing flavor blend. Oh SO good. Ina comes through once again!

These were awesome sandwiches! I took a shortcut and used jarred fired roasted peppers from Trader Joe's. I also toasted the bread. Other then that I followed the recipe exactly. If one wanted protein, roasted chicken would be really good on this sandwich too. Super easy & super yummy! Ina never fails, I love every recipe I try of hers.

This was easy to make & so full of flavor. The only thing I'll do different next time is use less salt.

This is a great combo of flavors. Roasting your own red peppers is a much better alternative to the jarred kind. Making the sammie on a big loaf of ciabatta and cutting it, saves you the time of making individual sammies. A huge hit at my lunch party (along with Michael Chiarello's roasted tomato soup - yum!. Excellent.

Hey, Ina, it's not Che-a-batta (ciabatta is pronounced chabatta -- just like Ciao is pronounced Chow, not Che-ow! Glad you're finally back w/new episodes. Switched faves to Giada, after watching Barefoot episodes 20 times...missed your style of entertaining. BTW ciabatta is wonderful -- crusty outside, so light inside. Makes great sandwiches, toast, garlic bread, pizzas (sliced diagonally, crust on bottom -- also used for Thanksgiving dressing (Giada
