This is the only way we cook shrimp for recipes that call for it to be boiled or cooked first. Keeps the perfect texture without getting mushy. We use regular grill seasoning instead of salt and pepper just to add that hint of garlic.

This is the BEST way to cook shrimp for shrimp cocktail!! I love the "pop" when you bite into one; that never happens when they have been boiled. We did a taste test with the homemade seafood sauce and the bottled kind--no comparison!! The homemade was so much fresher tasting! The only addition I made was to sprinkle some Old Bay over the shrimp with the salt and pepper to give them a little more kick. Please give this recipe a try; you won't be sorry! Thanks, Ina!!

I will NEVER boil shrimp again!!! This was easy to make, extremely tasty and a big hit with my guests too. The sauce is divine . . .I wanted to eat it with a spoon ( I like horseradish a lot! but saved some to have with more shrimp the next day. This one is definitely a keeper. You will not be disappointed preparing shrimp this way. . . you have to TRY IT to APPRECIATE it!

This is a GREAT recipe to add to your collection! My family LOVES IT! It's such an easy recipe and it tastes like it took all day to make, the sauce too. I love recipes that are a snap to make and leave my family feeling like they were fussed over! A great pampering recipe for those you love!

This was a great recipe, the shrimp have so much flavor and I agree they were not water logged. I don't think I will ever boil shrimp again. I used jumbo shrimp and they were just wonderful!
    Thanks Ina.

I will never boil shrimp again either...I love this. My shrimp only took 6 minutes and it was perfect and easy and very good. I served it at a cocktail party in my home and I could have used much, much more shrimp. Everyone asked how it was cooked. I think I am going to go home and make it now!!! My mouth is watering thinking about it.
