Yum! I love it! The orange flavor is really great in this dish and its pretty potent so make sure you like orange! I think this dish would taste better cold. I had it with a croissant for a nice light dinner. The problem is, is that it doesn't make enough!

This recipe is way too salty. You don't have to add any salt. Also, I add 1/2 yogurt & 1/2 mayo. You need to add more shrimp if you don't want it too taste too heavy. Too much sauce and not enough subsistence.

this recipe was fabulous, I made it for dinner for us two, and it was left overs for take out lunch for my brother at work, everyone loved it. I used light mayo, white vinegar, no capers, did not roasted the shrimp don't use the oven mush in the summer, but seared on a hot skilet, same results, and marinated with allseason shopped culantro and parsly, olive oil mixture over night. what a treat!!! felt I was in your garden INA! Love your show! your style and soft manners to present you foods! Thank you.

I'm a long-distance runner on a healthy diet, and Ina's food always looks so good (but so fattening!!. Well, this dish looked just too hard to resist-so I decided to play around a bit. Instead of a cup of mayonnaise, I added 1/2 cup of Miracle Whip and another 1/2 cup of plain low-fat yogurt. This significantly cut down on the fat and calories in the dish and it was still delicious!

My first attempt at making this recipe failed because it was too salty to eat...My second attempt was much better...I did not add any salt to the shrimp when I roasted it...I also did not add any salt to the sauce because the mayonnaise and capers were salty enough to flavor the salad...

Perfect shrimp salad. The only change I made was using half mayonnaise and half low-fat yogurt. This is a wonderful recipe.

I have not been a big fan of shrimp salad. This one changed my mind! It is incredible. I am going to save this one for every "event' that comes around. Thanks, Ina!

Although I like oranges, I am not big on orange flavored foods. So with that, I used lemon and a little less mayo. Instead of salt and pepper on my shrimp, I used a combo of Creole seasonings with a little Old Bay. This was delicious and I think the key to what makes this better that other shrmp salads is roasting the shrimp. Boiling flavors the water and takes away flavor from the food to me. So with roasting the shrimp you preserve the true essence of the flavor from the shrimp. I will always make this shrimp salad, with lemon that it is.
